The brainchild of Lisa Engeman, Occulture is a collaboration of friends and artisans transferring ancient stories and knowledge into contemporary statement jewellery. Occulture are working with the Warlukurlangu people of the Yuendumu region of the central Australian desert, with Gamilaraay woman, Arkeria Rose Armstrong, and through to a lineage of well known and respected artists from Utopia and Yuelumu country, including Raymond Walters Japanangka.

Occulture recently signed 17 year old Aboriginal model Lala Bayles, recently selected to represent Indigenous Australia in the 2017 World Supermodel Pageant in China, as the face of Occulture. Occulture will be showcased at the fashion parade and throughout the Tjungu Festival At Ayers Rock Resort, Uluru- April 22-25.

Occulture worked with Propeller to develop and launch Occulture Design on Shopify, the world's leading ecommerce platform. Occulture's store is designed to serve a burgeoning retail market, hungry for authentic Aboriginal pieces, but also to streamline and serve their global wholesale agencies and distributors. Occulture employs the Wholesaler Shopify app which has been tweaked by developer Milan Balaban to provide a customised experience for wholesalers and retail customers alike with varying pricing scales, wholesale client login portal and products separated for retail and wholesale.

Propeller have been working with Shopify since 2006 and are one of only a handful of accredited Shopify Experts and Partners in Australia. In fact, Propeller are listed as Shopify Partner Number 8.
